Reproductive Health & Family Planning
QAP provides technical assistance to improve the quality and effectiveness of family planning and reproductive health programs through team-based quality improvement, standards development, and quality monitoring.
- QAP is providing technical assistance for quality improvement activities to seed grant recipients who participated in the LAC Regional Maximizing Access and Quality (MAQ) exchange. The countries involved in the LAC MAQ Regional exchange included Honduras, Ecuador, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Guatemala.
- QAP is also collaborating with Family Health International to evaluate the effectiveness of the LAC Regional MAQ Exchange.
- QAP is a member of the Best Practices Consortium, a WHO-led forum for discussion on best practices in family planning, participating in the recent Best Practices Consortium meeting in India on Community-Driven Quality and Planning.
- QAP participates actively in the MAQ Initiative and plays a leadership role on the Management and Supervision and Organization of Work subcommittees.
